Berberine Hydrochloride is an alkaloid derived from goldthread, bark of cork tree and other plants. It can be also synthesized in artificial method. Recently usage of anti-arrhythmic was found .Berberine Hydrochloride has effect on intestinal infections, bacillary dysentery.
