Introduction
Hawthorn is a dual-purpose product for medicine and food. The fruit can be eaten raw or used as preserved fruit cake, and can be used as medicine after drying. It is a unique tree species for both medicine and fruit in China.
Main functions
1. Cardiotonic effect: Hawthorn has the effect of increasing myocardial contractility, increasing cardiac output, and slowing heart rhythm. 2. Effect on coronary blood flow and myocardial oxygen consumption: Hawthorn extract and its total flavonoids can increase coronary blood flow, reduce myocardial oxygen consumption and myocardial oxygen utilization. 3. Effect on myocardial nutritional blood flow: hawthorn has a certain increase effect on myocardial nutritional blood flow. Hawthorn has an increase effect on myocardial nutritional blood flow, which may be related to the expansion of coronary artery bed and improvement of coronary circulation. 4.
