Introduction
Parsley is a biennial, smooth herb. Roots fusiform, sometimes thick. Stem rounded, slightly furrowed, 30-100 cm tall, branched above middle, branches opposite or whorled, usually exceeding central umbel. Leaves dark green, glossy, basal and lower stem leaves long-petiolate, 2-3-pinnatifid, ultimate segments obovate, base cuneate, 3-lobed or deeply toothed; teeth rounded with small white cusps; upper leaves 3-lobed, segments lanceolate-linear, entire or 3-lobed.
Main functions
