Introduction
European blueberry is called bilberry in Britain. It has been used as an edible plant since ancient times. It was used as a medicinal plant in Europe in the 16th century. Its leaves have traditionally been used for astringent, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, strong, weak anti diabetes activity, and have been used in various plant medicinal mixtures for the treatment of diabetes.
