Introduction
Rubiaceae perennial vines of the genus Rubiaceae. The ribs of the stem are prickly, much branched; the leaves are papery, lanceolate, with prickly edges, rough on both sides; the corolla is light yellow, light brown when dry, slightly extended, glabrous; the fruit is spherical, orange-yellow when ripe. Fl. Aug-Sep, fr. Oct-Nov.
