Introduction
Hesperidin is a kind of flavonoids widely existing in citrus fruits. Its chemical structure is dihydroflavonoid oxyglycoside structure, which is weakly acidic. The crude product extracted is light yellow powder.
Main functions
Hesperidin is a vitamin drug, which has the functions of enhancing capillary toughness, reducing capillary fragility, protecting capillaries, shortening bleeding time, maintaining osmotic pressure, reducing cholesterol, and preventing microvascular rupture and bleeding. It can be used to treat premenstrual syndrome, venous lower limb ulcer, chronic venous insufficiency, joint edema, secondary upper limb lymphedema and microvascular disease in diabetes patients.
