| Hesperidin is a compound that provides the body with hesperetin, a flavonoid that effectively performs the effects of hesperidin: including increased circulation and possible brain protection. Hesperidin and naringenin together are known as the major citrus flavonoids. Hesperidin is a bioflavonoid glycoside commonly found in citrus fruits (most notably oranges) and is the sugar-bound form of the flavonoid hesperetin. |

| 1. As a vitamin drug, hesperidin can reduce the fragility of capillaries, protect capillaries, and prevent microvascular rupture and bleeding. It is used for the adjuvant treatment of hypertension. Enhances venous tone by prolonging norepinephrine-induced venous constriction (this effect persists in febrile, acidotic states). 2. Hesperidin can reduce the adhesion and migration of leukocytes and vascular endothelial cells, and reduce inflammatory substances after disintegration (such as histamine, bradykinin, complement, leukotrienes, prostaglandins, excessive free radicals, etc.) release, thereby reducing capillary permeability. 3. Hesperidin can reduce blood viscosity and speed up blood flow, thereby improving microcirculation stasis. Improve lymphatic circulation, accelerate the return of tissue fluid, reduce edema. Diosmin/hesperidin is used for hemorrhoids, both to reduce the acute symptoms of hemorrhoids and to reduce their frequency and duration. |
