Lowering blood lipids and anti-atherosclerosis Many experiments have shown that artichoke extract can reduce blood lipids, mainly by affecting the synthesis and decomposition pathways of cholesterol and lipids in the liver to regulate lipid levels, thereby preventing the occurrence of atherosclerosis. 3. Liver protection and antioxidant function Studies on the antioxidant function of artichoke mostly focus on leaf extracts.
