Introduction
Diosmin, also known as geranioside, is a derivative of semi-synthetic flavonoids and hesperidin. It is used to treat various vascular diseases, including hemorrhoids, varicose veins, poor circulation in the legs (venous stasis) and bleeding (bleeding) in the eyes or gums. It is also used to prevent hepatotoxicity. It is usually mixed with hesperidin.
Main functions
1. Diosmin tablet is a prescription drug of western medicine, which can enhance the tension of venous vessels, protect capillaries, and improve microcirculation. Diosmin tablet can be used in various diseases caused by poor venous return, or varicose veins and lymphatic return, such as venous edema of lower limbs, soft tissue swelling, and the resulting numbness, swelling, stiffness and other discomfort symptoms of limbs. 2. Other thromboembolic diseases, such as deep vein thrombosis of the lower limbs, can also be treated with it.
